Greetings All,

My name is Marianne and I've been in Temecula for about a year now. I am currently a stay at home __________ (fill in the blank). While my kids are all adults, we do share a home with our married daughter, son-in-law & granddaughter as well as our oldest son.
It's great to see a website like this start up as I've had some trouble trying to get to know the community as a whole. I'm a shy sort of person but am trying to get myself out there and meet new people.
Anyway, hope to talk to some of the other brave souls on the board soon

Thanks for the welcome Fanny. Yes, we do all love it here. We actually moved ot be closer to my son who is a Sgt. in the USMC and stationed at Pendleton. My son-in-law is now stationed at Miramar with my nephew who is also a Sgt. in the USMC.
I'm wondering if you might be able to recommend any activities in the Temecula area that we can take our granddaughter to. We've enjoyed walking around Old Town a few times (I love the Root Beer store). There are usually 4 or 5 of us adults and the baby who is 6 months. We do also get out without the baby so if you might be able to recommend a place or two that we might go to without her that would be awesome.

Well not sure how old your granddaughter is but there is Mulligans is Murrieta. Then there is bowling in Murrieta also.
In temecula there is a great place for all ages called
Painted Earth

This is a great place to go and paint your own little ceramics! I have taken all age kids there!
There is also Chuck Cheese, in murrieta! Which I dont care for but the kids LOVE it!!
There are also some great parks all over.
There is also a great little water park for the little ones at:
Diamond Valley Aquatic Center
The new Aquatic Center is open daily and houses a play gym and water slide for all your water fun.
Call (951) 929-0047 for location, pool times and fee information.
It is $6 per person and I believe it is open from 10-6 and you can stay all day for that price.They have fishing and boat rentals as well.

Hola fellow Temecula dwellers...LOL. Im new to the area and I would love to meet some new people.

Im 27 years old with two children, ages 5 and 3, and I moved here with my parents about 3 weeks ago. I moved from the Palm Springs area. My goodness....its so much cooler here! Im lovin it. No going back for me!

Anywho....I love being a part of forums. I am still on one in AZ and its a great way to talk with other residents and find out whats going on around town.
