My husband and I are surrounded by family every where we look.lol. We are very eager to go some where to start our own life without moving out of state. We have been thinking about Temecula and went there this weekend to look around and we both loved it. I just wanted to talk to some Temecula residents and see how they like it.

Hi kcrae!
Welcome to the website.
Temecula is a great place. My wife and I moved here about 4 years ago, had a baby 2 years ago and bought a house a few months ago. We were in the same position as you.
So far, I have nothing but good things to say about Temecula, Murrieta and the surrounding areas. Below is a quick overview of Temecula:
Temecula: Positives -
VERY family oriented. Variety of shopping and entertainment Close to OC, LA and San Diego (for a weekend drive) Good school districts (so I'm told)
Negatives - If you're commuting to LA, OC or San Diego on a daily basis, forget about it. I tried it. It lasted 2 weeks.
As I mentioned above, Murrieta is also a nice town, you might want to check it out too.
I'd recommend renting for a while until you figure out the town.
Where are you moving from? What are some of your, "must-haves"?
